This initiative arose from requests by thesis students for a safe and pleasant space where they could work on their theses and relax. It also gives first-year students the chance to learn about available projects and supervisors. You’re also welcome to come work on other assignments and get advice on courses and professors from older students.

We will provide coffee, tea, cookies, and other beverages and snacks during the day. At least one board member will be present at each session!

UPDATE: Starting in April 2026, sessions will be held every two weeks. This schedule is subject to change depending on community demand. We’ll keep you posted!

As part of the TheSUUS Thursdays, we are planning to host sessions for HPS and SEC students to practice presenting their thesis presentations to an audience. Please indicate your interest in these sessions by filling in the pre-registration form so we can plan accordingly!
