TheSUUS Thursdays
This initiative arose from requests by thesis students for a safe and pleasant space where they could work on their theses and relax. It also gives first-year students the chance to learn about available projects and supervisors. You’re also welcome to come work on other assignments and get advice on courses and professors from older students.
We will provide coffee, tea, cookies, and other beverages and snacks during the day. At least one board member will be present at each session!
UPDATE: Starting in April 2026, sessions will be held every two weeks. This schedule is subject to change depending on community demand. We’ll keep you posted!
June Presentation Practice Days
The schedule for the Thesuus Thursday Practice Presentation Days is ready! Seventeen Suusians will share their research projects with us. The presentations will be held on June 11, 18, and 25.We will provide free drinks and snacks during all the presentations.
If you are thinking about presenting, you can still reach and we will include you in the schedule.
If you have not started or are just starting the thesis process, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about ongoing projects, their supervisors, and the expectations for a thesis presentation at UU. This will hopefully make your process smoother when the time comes.
